Kingspan continues to expand globally bringing ultra-performance building envelope solutions to markets which are at an earlier stage in their evolution to sustainable and efficient methods of construction.
We have significantly grown our geographic base over the past 10 years, diversifying into markets which offer considerable future growth opportunities through converting to high-performance building envelope solutions.
We invested a total of €540m on acquisitions in 2021. Entering the district heating infrastructure market through Logstor Group, and expanding our presence in Eastern Europe through Terasteel.
In 2021 we commissioned 5 new manufacturing facilities or lines, including our Kooltherm® facility in Sweden, our new centre of excellence for polycarbonate in Kingscourt and another new facility in Brazil.
In 2021 we increased our presence in markets from Australia to Uruguay. We have approximately 25 new facilities or lines in planning over the next 4 years to support the growth of our full spectrum of building envelope solutions globally.
