At Kingspan, we aim to help architects and building owners design buildings which consume less energy and which harness the power of nature to improve occupant comfort and wellbeing. Kingspan Light and Air provides solutions for optimising natural daylight, increasing natural air flow and ventilation, and managing heat and smoke in the event of a fire.
Introducing Kingspan Light & Air
Kingspan is a market leader in the manufacture of high-performance insulation for flat roofs. Our Topdek, Onedek and X-dek ranges offer a single-fix panel solution for flat roof applications. Building on the fast growth in our flat roof panel offering, we aim to expand our offer in built-up flat roof systems. Our range of insulation boards, including the QuadCore™ Roofboard and the Optim-R® roofing system offer significant thermal advantages in a built-up system.
Kingspan has innovative, ultra-performance products in both piping insulation and ducting insulation and we aim to expand our presence in these markets.
Including the acquisition of the Logstor Group, Kingspan will generate over €400 million in revenue annually from technical insulation. Focus areas for growth, organic and inorganic, include air ducting insulation, piping insulation and equipment insulation.
Kingspan and LOGSTOR both started as family businesses and share a vision for a low carbon and energy efficient future.
LOGSTOR has a strong heritage of supplying complete pre-insulated pipe systems and related services having delivered more than 200,000 km of pre-insulated pipes – that’s five times around the equator!
District heating from LOGSTOR constitutes a long-term investment that improves infrastructure for people in cities and communities. LOGSTOR solutions ensure low costs for more than 30 years, helping to make district heating the cheapest and most effective form of indoor heating. District heating is growing as a solution for industrial processes with waste energy, this waste energy can be harnessed and utilised as a heat source for local communities.
